Lyndsey started Boulder Doggie Adventures in early 2012 after a 10-year long career as a satellite systems engineer.  Among other things, her experience working as an engineer taught her professionalism, organization, reliability, hard work, and the importance of excellent customer service.  While working for corporate America, she became keenly aware of how the demands of a full time job and other life factors can often prevent dog guardians from exercising their dogs the way they wish they could. She also found that for some dogs, a need exists for more than a traditional leash walking service or doggie day care. Lyndsey loves dogs because they are just as crazy about the outdoors as she is and is thrilled to be able to combine her two passions into one career. Lyndsey is a lifelong dog owner and a longtime active volunteer for Humane Society of Boulder Valley, where she enjoys being able to give back to the community both personally & professionally. Lyndsey has also worked for PetSmart Charities Rescue Waggin’ program which saves dogs from overcrowded shelters in the states surrounding Colorado. Lyndsey lives in Boulder with her husband and adopted special needs pup, a bulldog named Moe.

Dagmar Fehlau, outdoor enthusiast & dog lover, has lived in Boulder for 15 years with her family of 5. Originally from Germany, she spent a decade in & around NYC, studying art & starting a successful career as a children's book illustrator. Dagmar & her family moved to Boulder in part to realize their wish of being able to hike & camp their way through the great wildernesses of the West. Over time, while owning her own two generations of adorable mutts, her focus turned away from book illustration & more towards being with dogs, her own as well as her friend's & neighbor's, & all other doggies passing through her life. Owning her very special fear reactive Lab/Greyhound mix fueled her passion for learning to work with & getting to know dogs of all kinds of needs & personalities. Being able to combine her boundless love for dogs & enthusiasm for hiking in the beautiful surroundings of Boulder is her life's dream! We love Dagmar for her strong work ethic, her dedication to BDA, integrity, & positive outlook on life.

Originally from Wisconsin, Katie moved to Boulder after completing her B.S. in meteorology with a minor in rhetoric/applied writing from Saint Cloud State University. She went on to earn her GIS Certification from Front Range Community College & helped design many of the trailhead kiosk maps you see around Boulder. The trails are her happy place! Katie volunteers with both City of Boulder OSMP & Boulder County POS as a Park Patroller, regularly logging 1000+ miles/year hiking & trail running in the Colorado foothills & mountains. She is trained as a Wilderness First Responder & won't be found without her trusty pack full of emergency supplies. Katie is a true dog lover having been around & owned dogs throughout her life. She lives with her husband & rescue beagle mix, Lucy. We love Katie for her passion for animals, attention to detail, situational awareness, & awesome attitude.

When she made her first trip as a kid to Colorado in the 60’s, her heart told her that she had found home in the mountains here.  At 17, being an avid hiker, back-packer, river rat & self proclaimed tree-hugger, the University of Colorado & the Boulder foothills seemed a perfect fit. While attending CU she lived in a rustic cabin above Jamestown, the first of several mountain communities, along with a beloved line of mountain dogs & cats, which all led her to her current home west of Boulder in 1992. Her professional background is rooted in the service industry & includes real estate, mortgage services, bookkeeping & hospitality. In between hikes, you will find Andrea volunteering with seniors, swimming or sledding with the neighbor’s kids or working in her extensive flower garden! Hiking daily for over 30 years above 6,000ft with generations of dogs has made her an avid nature enthusiast & relentless in her identification of local flora, fauna & scat. She is passionate regarding respect for all wildlife & the preservation of the integrity of the ecology of our local mtn-urban interface. Andrea lives with her husband John & her adopted pets--a lab-mix, Lucy & Maine Coon cat, Tula.  She loves meeting your dogs & leading them on adventures!

Brianna is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. She grew up caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and horses. With a childhood full of beach days, she always loved her yearly trips to Shenandoah National Park with her family. Casey was born and raised in/around Boulder and grew up exploring the local hiking trails with her family. However, it wasn’t until she got her Vizsla, Hershey in 2010 that her passion for hiking really developed. Trying to give her high energy pup as much exercise as he needed, she began running and hiking with him regularly and was hooked. Exploring new trails and hiking fourteeners in the summer became her favorite pass time. Having always been interested in dogs and dog behavior, Casey has experience pet sitting/dog walking, working and volunteering at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, and working for a local dog daycare. She is happy to have found BDA where she can work and enjoy the things she loves and looks forward to many more hikes and adventures!
